Birchwood Hotel & O R Tambo Conference Centre

This year the conference will be held at the Birchwood Hotel and O R Tambo Conference Centre .

The Birchwood Hotel & O R Tambo conference Centre is situated in the East Rand, only 7Km from O R Tambo International Airport and easily accessible from the R24 and R21.

Airport Transfers

The Birchwood Hotel has a fleet of vehicles comprising coaches and microbuses. Transfers to and from OR Tambo International Airport and to and from the East Rand Mall are free of charge.

The Birchwood Shuttle can be found outside at the designated Hotel “pick up” and “drop off” point situated outside the terminal and Car Rental buildings opposite the Airport Inter-Continental Hotel. The shuttles leave from the airport for the Hotel every 10 past the hour on the hour.

Directions to the shuttle

1. Make your way to the entrance of the Car Rental Agencies.
2. From there, look for the INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL (It can be seen from across the parking lot from Outside Terminal A where the flagpoles are)
3. Guests need to make their way past the Intercontinental Hotel.
4. Just behind the Hotel is a parking area, this is where the shuttle parks.
5. Should you arrive early, there is seating available.

Shuttle Times

All vehicles are clearly marked with the Birchwood Logo and all drivers are in procession of public driving permits.
